These are my creations. I am trying to grow as a knitter! During my time with the needles, I use the time hooked up to an IPOD for listening therapy to improve my speech understanding.

This pattern is so easy and looks complicated. The yarn feels especially soft and smooth knitted up. The pattern is Uptown Boot Socks featured in Favorite Socks.
Note: I advise you use a solid color if you want to show off the delicate cables.
Sooz, you are doing great with your socks! About the Gothic Leaf shawl, I did the kitchener and it was no more difficult than a sock toe. so if you are comfy with that, go for it. The only annoying thing was that you have 100+ sts to graft on the stole so need lots of yarn on your needle and have to pull it all thru every st. But when done, you don't see the graft at all.
In 11 days (on Dec 12, 2005) I will have a surgical procedure that will change what my ears have been hearing for all 44 years of my life. I have opened this blog so that I may share the experience of having a Cochlear Implant, aka "CI" with you

Good luck!
