My Ocean Tote

This tote was made with one skein each of Elann's Highland Wool and Mister Joe's Sangria. I cast on 50 stitches and knitted until the Mr. Joe was used up (approx 50 rows.) Did an I-cord for 50 inches. Simple mindless knitting. The felting turned out a nice result that was fuzzy and soft with a reflective shimmer to it. Very pretty!

Hey Sooz-

How did Mr. Joe behave? It looks good, did he felt well?

As this bag was drying, the shimmer of the Mr. Joe didn't show through until the last of the drying process. I;ve posted a close up of the result for you..

Looks great! How large is it now? I haven't decided what I'm going to do with my Mr Joe, but I'm thinking a shawl. Clearly the color combination you used influenced the colors I chose for my Denise needles tote bag, lol! Or maybe it's just that I love those shades of blue??

50" of i-cord! You are a stronger woman than I. Love the textural look of your bag.

That long thick iCord handle is the perfect addition to a really nice bag. What a good value for two balls of yarn. Mr Joe...what a pal!

How did you attach your cord to your bag? I'd like to make a bag similar to this. Let me know! Miss you!
